This browser extension is a shopping helper for Chinese resale marketplaces (Goofish / Xianyu, Taobao, Tmall, Weidian, 1688) and for shopping-agent sites. It is designed to keep your data on your own device.

What the extension stores

Only your settings, saved locally via the browser chrome.storage API: which features are on/off, interface language (PT/EN), an optional manual exchange rate, and the latest BRL-CNY exchange rate it fetched. This data never leaves your browser. There is no account, no login, and no server operated by us.

What is sent over the network, and to whom

Every 10 minutes in the background: nothing but a plain GET request, to public exchange-rate APIs (bytemax.exchange, api.newrecargas.com, hoobuy.noob.exchange, economia.awesomeapi.com.br).
Only when you click the Translate button on a marketplace search box: the search phrase you typed, sent to Google Translate (translate.googleapis.com).
Only when you paste a shortened tb.cn link into the converter and press Convert: that link, sent to tb.cn to follow the redirect and read the final product URL.

Nothing else is transmitted. The extension does not collect or send your browsing history, page contents, cookies, credentials, personal information, or any analytics or telemetry.

Affiliate links

When you use the extension buttons or link converter to open a product on CSSBuy, the generated link includes the developer CSSBuy affiliate (promotionCode) parameter. This may earn the developer a commission on purchases you make. It does not change the price you pay and involves no tracking of you by the extension.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or creditworthiness assessment.

alarms - schedule the background exchange-rate refresh.
Host access to goofish.com, xianyu.com, taobao.com, tmall.com, weidian.com, 1688.com and listed shopping-agent domains - run the on-page features (pop-up blocker, translations, BRL prices, Buy via CSSBuy button) on product pages of those sites.
Host access to cssbuy.com - show a click-only Buy via CoelhoLifeStyle button on product pages that do not already carry the referral; it never acts without your click and sends no data.
Host access to tb.cn - resolve shortened Taobao links in the converter.
Host access to translate.googleapis.com - translate your search text.
Host access to the four exchange-rate API domains - fetch the BRL-CNY rate.
